Hi Meg, I am so sorry to hear that things are still not working out for you but I know that the universe has something wondeful up its sleeve for you my dear:)
Thank you for all you wonderful cvomments on my photos, very much appreciated. I am so behind with my UF replies (took time off for myself) so I hope you don't mind me thanking you this way :)
Keep your chin up, everything will work out;)

Sorry to have taken so long to answer Doyle. Things here have not been good, as you can imagine. We should be living there now but it seems we may be stuck here for some time yet. We are though having a weeks holiday there and going to our granddaughters wedding next week, it's going to be hard coming back!
Regards, Meg.

Thank you Onie.... Sorry I've not written...I've not been good company of late. We are going to our granddaughters wedding in Spain this week but will only be away a week as we feel we have to be here just in case.... Our dream of buying and being settled in a new home by Christmas is fast fading away and as most things are packed in boxes it will be rather miserable if we are still here!
I hope by now that your move has gone ahead smoothly, do let me know.
Love and hugs to you both. Meg.

Thank you so much for your kind words Sylvia. I'm sure it will all work out in the end, it's just that at the moment we can't see light at the end of the tunnel!

OHHH Meg...:(((( I am so very sad and sorry for you both plus families... This is so very, very wrong... They should be at least responsible for your out of pocket legal work...
I really don't know what to say other than to commiserate with you... Sending huge HUGS wrapped in ribbons of luck and bows of faith...
We are having our own house hiccups here, but won't bother you with that until after you move... Hopefully, someone nicer will come along shortly and you will be in your hearts desire sooner than later...
Love Onie... and Colin... ~~GRIN~~ is for sunshine to warm you soon...

Oh, I am so, so sorry, dear Meg! But we have to believe that things will work out for the best in the long run.
PS: I wrote a song by that title once, but it was about lost love, not a lost house...lol.

I am so sorry to hear this story, Meg. This is an awful thing to have happened when you were all ready to make the move and really believed it was about to happen. Let the low-life live with his guilt. Your move will take place eventually, and you will look back at the delay as an unfortunate blip. Hope to see you down here soon...

Thank you so much for that Jan... This all happened last Thursday and I admit I cried all day Friday. It was only today when I received your comment on another image that I realized I had told nobody here, I had posted that note on another site that I'm a member of so thought it best to cut and paste it into here.
The support from my on-line friends has been quite humbling, knowing they are thinking and praying for a good outcome for us has been an immense help.
As you have realized, I am no wimp myself and will pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over...all be it much later than we planned. I am now over upset and have now gone into the VERY mad stage... I shall in the absence of any legal retribution write the sniveling coward a letter setting out just what a low life we conceder him to be. It won't refund our money or put our plans back on track, but by God it will make us feel a lot better!
Meg.

Oh, Lord! This is such bad news and yet you could still sit down to write this story and your plight. I am unfamiliar with British law and in the US at a minimum the wimpy buyer would lose good faith money as well as other potential penalties -- even so, the same would happen here; in your situation there are so many twists and turns. My heartfelt sympathy to you for this yet I trust you are brave (and not a wimp) and hopefully will endure to see your way to Spain. I am praying for a good outcome soon! --Best wishes and regards, Jan
