Thanks for your kind words, John! In a later version of this photo, following Gustavo's suggestion to get rid of the black space to emphasize the sky, I think that the shot comes off better.

I have a few more images that I am playing with from Monument Valley that I will probably post at some time, but I haven't found the time to prep them yet.

A Nor'easter? I'll pass!!!

:-), bueno con photoshop realmente es una enormidad las cosas que podes hacer, sin límites!...

Ahora, yo el color lo veo bien, me parece una foto muy agradable, lo único que me pareció mejorable es lo que te mencioné que además es un defecto creo, muy evidente: nunca se deben dejar zonas negras tan grandes y sin detalles, más que enfatizar el cielo en este caso lo anulan, lo minimizan...por eso el recorte mío está mejor balanceado.

Ahora entiendo! Claro, pense enmarcar mit/miti la imagen para enfatizar la distincion oscuro/rojo, pero veo lo que decis ahora.

Por otro lado, un defecto mio es no saber manejar muy bien PHOTOSHOP; hago todo en Lightroom todavia. Capaz que con PS podria enfatizar mas el poco azul que habia, no se.Que decis?

Muchas gracias, Gustavo. Lo que pasa es que a diferencia del cielo normal --muy azul por estos lares, lo cual se contrasta con la tierra que es muy roja-- ese día el cielo estaba muy opaca. Decidí saturar los rojos del amanecer en la foto porque el azul típico no resaltaba. Pasame una dirección de mail aparte y te paso otra foto menos 'artística' pero cuando el sol era más "normal."
