Wonderful subject for a black and white portrait. The facial expression is very warm and friendly. Rugged clothes with harsh texture, make this person appear strong. The grain in Your film also helps a lot to set up a mood and make this man look common, like many people we pass everyday. I like the fact that under the rough jacket, there appears to be a white shirt and a tie. Great composition and subject placement in the square format of Your picture. Slight overexposure on the nose, tips of his ears and the white collar are a bit annoying, but it may be just a bad scan, as the picture seems to be taken in a shade, the contrast range wasn't too big
