Wow... and you say you're not a landscape photographer as such! I much prefer black and white landscape photographs, as removing colour takes away a layer of 'literality' from the image and allows the imagination more space to roam. This is a perfect composition, Danny, with the most wonderful toning. You know what I like most? The two dark toned hilltops in the far distance in the left middle of the photograph... small details like that make images for me. Northumberland looks like the most beautiful place... I've never been there, unfortunately. I must do so... 7+++++ and a favourite.
