Here is where you come into my life at a disadvantage...
I have already posted and removed shots of the "Rock." This pic was building on things already posted. I'll go back and give ya shot of Starved Rock in a few days. We are going back there.

kekekekekekekkekekeke.... well done! Nicely played. Starved Rock is where some Indians (Native Americans) put under siege some other Native Americans (Indians) and starved those on the top of the rock out of existance.

I once had to contact a library in the UK about buying copies of some maps they had. The price worked out to 1700 lbs "or just under 800 kg, as we say here in Canada". I don't think they got the joke, as I did not hear back. Fortunately, as it turned out, since I found a full set of the maps I was after (1907 Fire Insurance plans of Saskatoon) locally, and I was able to get them for free. So I spent my 1,000 kg elsewhere.
Why was the Rock Starved?
