I couldn't believe how a few twigs and leafs of grass can ruin a shot of a bison that's like 5 feet away,

Great shot. Most of the bison images I took have the faces down in tall grass kinda hard to get thier eyes. Also hard to get a decent shot too because they were too close and I wasn't going to get out of my car :)

Thank You for the correction Bill of course they don't loose the skin........(OMG)))) You are right just the fur-- I think I am tired tonight- TGIF and long Friday too....

Hi Michele, I'm no expert on moulting but I don't think they lose the skin, just the winter coat of fur. BILL NAGY

Ohhh my goodness Bill so this is what Bison moulting is ... I guess they loose some skin ((?))) I do know what grazzing is about ! This has been an educating lesson ... Thank You for sharing with us ...
