This is a wonderful moody landscape Kes.....surrealistic, haunting and eerie are all discriptive words that I think of when viewing this one. I missed it last time I did my rounds. The lighting is great and the tones look excellent. You think it's the wrong place but I have to disagree, you have captured a thought provoking image......Well done to you my friend.

Kes, it looks like a Martian escape, very weird, in away very cool one!!! I know the feeling it happens to me couple times in the last 5 years, Its Lunatic :):)

Thanks Michele! My fingers got so cold they hurt...but have to confess that my family was warm & toasty in the car a hundred feet away...
...the price of waiting on the light! The shot has been post process saturated (and other things..:):) a bit to accentuate the color in the sky.

Ooh bummer on being in the wrong place BUT I really like this image- such an orange glow to it, and it does look COLD, COLD, super COLD !! Looks like you cam see for miles as well...nice composition Kes-
