About Argentina is becoming more and more famous for its sport horses (jumping, racing) which is why I visit this country regularly. However, the horses that I find most intriguing from a photographic perspective are the indigenous Criollo horses. These sturdy yet beautiful equines are used mainly by the gauchos (cowboys) for farm work. They are also of particular interest because of their varied coat colors which somehow seem well suited to the diverse Argentina landscapes.
