Very dramatic shot of the clouds covering the peak and contrasting with the sunlit lower rocks, Tim! Glad to hear your camera and lens are almost back to normal, too!

Those clouds are smokin', Tim! Love the warmth of the sunlit rocks and the blending of snow and cloud. A good test of the D80's hardiness!!!! lol! Who needs a Nikonos?

Yes we were lucky just enough good weather every day to make fantastic photos. Only one clear blue day which i am never fond of...lol...and that was the day my camera was not working. So i was ok with that. How was the weather at the time you were there? I had heard from the locals that it rains a lot at that time of the year. But who knows now with Global warming changing things.
