I agree with you, Astrid... I try to avoid cropping 'after the event' as well, although with my street photography I end up doing so a lot as there's often too much going on around the subject at the time I take the photo. With regards this photo, I think a series of photographs in a reportage style would work best... one showing the whole scene then others focusing in on details. I was trying to imagine how I would have approached taking photographs in this place and I think it poses difficulties... there's a lot 'going on' and it would be difficult I think to really isolate one part of it effectively. My crop of your photo was simply to give an impression of how I would have gone about taking a photograph... I don't think it works very well as it is.

Thanks! Do you know whats shocking for real? That you actually see this bodies hanging around everywhere... it sort of belongs to the cityscape... its totally normal to step under them to get to some stands on the market for example... It took some time to get use to that!

Thanks for your commant. Actually its funny because i was thinking about cropping it... didnt like the furniture on the right side of the photo very much. However, in gerneral i dont use the function of photoshop, i try to do the framing already while taking the picture.
Btw, its taken at a normal butchers!!!

A very powerful photograph... I would have perhaps concentrated on the whole carcass and made the composition tighter and more focused, but that's just my personal opinion.

I don't know how you were able to take this, while it is interesting I don't think I could have. We all know what reality is but actually seeing it is prettying shocking sometimes.
