This is awesome, such great colors, composition and even with the gulls flying overhead. What an astounding port photograph! I envy you for the ability to have these types of scenes readily available for your photo taking!

I was in Gloucester last year for a family reunion. It still is one beautiful place but I miss the old wooden draggers. My wife is a artist and painted my grandfathers boat and my six uncles' boats. The fishing families names that I am related to are Parisi, Novello, Nicastro, Pallazzolo. Take care and keep shooting.

It's a small world Andrew. I'm sure people in my family at one time or another cross paths with yours. They could even be friends. My grandparents, my father and uncles fished out of Gloucester and I was raised there myself. Once in a while I visit and I can tell you the little town didn't change much. They still have the S. Peter feast and you still can hear Italian and Portuguese being spoken by the older generations. Nice to hear from you.

The golden tones, composition and reflection are amazing.
May be it needed to included more of the water in the foreground below the reflections, else, it's an excellent image.
