About	....this guy came through the garden this morning and spent long enough staring down the cat for me to get a picture of him (you gotta, don't you?).....a beautiful creature, a red bellied black snake, if he bites you will probaly not die, if you are fit, but you would get pretty sick so we treat him with great respect and let him go silently on his way.

Thank you so much David. I've always heard that too, but you never know! I think the dark shade to this picture & how you only see part of it makes it even more ominous! Sorry, not trying to scare you more! I like it.

.....he is there one moment and gone the next, no sound atall....we always watch where we put our feet around the place but I like to think that this visitor knows he is in no danger from us....people say they are more frightened of us than we are of them but I'm not so sure!!!!....your shots are great, thanks for the comment. cheers, david.

He looks like carbon fiber material. I thought that was a snake in the small picture! I would never kill it but would be terrified to see it go & not know where it was! Yikes! Interesting though, thanx for posting.
