Thank you very much Micky, you are too kind. Yes I certainly loved the clash of colours here, it made this flower so unique. This one was Photographed at the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.

Hi Dan,a perfectly captured example of this equally perfect orchid.I think the unusual clashing colours of this speciman makes it extra special.Definately an exotic species, probably a singapore orchid.

Hi John, I had never seen anything like this flower before, not sure that it is from NZ, maybe an import in this case. I couldn't believe the colours and patterns in the flower, I like orchids, but this one tops the lot in my books. Thank you so much for your kind words.

Thank you Hussam, yes I loveld the colours in this Orchid, I had never seen anything like it.
I was very happy with the result. I was a wee bit suprised when I first posted it that it didn't get much response.

Amazing... that goes into my favorite because it is a really beautiful flower... I know that New Zeeland has very special plants AND animals that nowhere else can be... and that is a great excample, oh God, that is superb... and pretty good photo quality too!
