Well, if it makes you feel any good, I was at work too today.. just got back home. I am back in NY of course, the trip was awesome. took abt 2300 pics.. will need time to sort them, work on few I liked and then upload.. bear with me..

I would be interested in knowing the light conditions in the room (was it yellowish tungsten light?) and what white balance you used - do you remember ?

Flamenco is in my soul,….. I love the rhythm the colour the drama of both the dance and the music, you have captured them all here JD in a way that I guess the original photo didn’t do. I can hear the guitar and the tapping feet and hand claps, along with the castanets clicking to the beat…. It’s wonderful and makes me miss Spain all the more!

garcias Luis, las noticias son buenas y estoy más tranquilo, ya te comentaré; en cuanto a la foto el nivel de detalle en la zona de medias tonos era mucho mayor, éste alto contraste y silueteado fue apropósito, pero intentaré lo que me dices en otras fotos.. un KAPO abrazo com decís vos...jd

Hermano JD...a Josep es dificil igualarlo en esas fotos de flamenco...En cuanto a tus fotos... prueba con el fotoshop en el comando de niveles...alli con el histograma (el dibujo de luces y sombras...) con el cursor del medio lograrás mejores tonos en las sombras.- La otra posibilidad es una capa de ajuste de niveles y allí haces una corrección selectiva.- Bueno cuando nos conozcamos personalmente te lo muestro.- Mientras tanto un abrazo.- Y asumo que estás más tranquilo.- VALE.- luis

Querido Luis cuánta razón tienes; dada que la luz era mala y mi posición muy cercana a la bailaora las fotos que realicé no son muy buenas, de ahí que intenté dar más fuerza a la foto con un alto contraste y color; intentaré otros formas de trabajo pero no estoy muy convencido de mejorar ésta, ya veremos; un abrazo y gracias por tu comentario, honesto, como siempre...jd

Txules, así se empieza! Estoy un poco de acuerdo con el comentario de Luís Steinberg de que el local no tenía una iluminación muy adecuada, es muy fuerte el contraste de luces; en cambio me gusta la posición y actitud de fuerza de la "bailaora". Adelante Txules! Porqué no pruebas en blanco y negro? Un abrazo de

Como veras mi querido amigo es dificil lograr buenas tomas de baile en esos escenarios, con altas luces intensas y sombras pronunciadas, asumiendo que es el inicio de una serie, me va...pero aún lejos de mi gusto.- POr cierto esa actitud quebrar las reglas sigue firme y eso es genial.- un KAPO abrazo.- LUIS
