A wonderful atmospheric kind of photo. I agree with Doyle about the central position of the person but it is a minor point. I personally would have tried to get closer or to crop out the slightly distracting items in the foreground, but again a minor point. All the best.

Agreed , simply stunning. Also agree with Doyle's point.I cant help thinking that the walkers head dissappears against the horizon, IMHumbleO perhaps either a slightly higher or lower POV?

Very moody capture and perfect for this project. You have composed the layers of drama with the great patterns of the sand, the water and a dramatic sky...and the subject is standing alone and walking! Very good experience to watch, and congratulations for this very moody composition.

Effettivamente questa immagine trasmette il messaggio di solitudine che dovrebbe caratterizzare il project "alone" e lo trasmette bene, ed un BIPpettino ci stava anche bene, però forse non te l'hanno dato perché quel tipo non era effettivamente solo: c'eri anche te a fotografarlo!!! la prox volta prova con l'autoscatto ed uno scatto da centometrista. a dire il vero un pò ci speravo anche io...
ma spesso vedo che i miei gusti non coincidono proprio con quelli dello staff.. e non parlo solo per le mie foto.... ma come si sa il sito non è mio e non lo gestisco io, quindi..... ; )
mi fa piacere però che invece il "popolo" di usefilm abbia apprezzato in buon numero, che poi è quello che realmente conta!

Giulio this is an amazing capture. Wonderful use of light. IMO the capture of the solitary walker might have given a better, more dynamic composition had he been further right . . . making the natural setting seem even more immense - and opening up that much more before him . . . but that's a minor point.
Overall, I think a very nice composition.
