I was real pleased to see this image. Usually wedding photographs highlight the bride... and why not... this is her day and her show. But... there are others who have a stake in this event and are often ignored... especially the Dads. Even though he usually foots the bill for this extravaganza, he's generally in the background. Giving your daughter to another younger, unproven man is just not an easy thing to do. With all that said, your image so perfectly captures the intensity of the father's unspoken feelings. I think I could call it "bittersweet resolution."
