I really like his expression. The other guy being a little blurry also works great. Nice work.

Yes, I think I must do! No, I've always found musicians very interesting as photographic subjects... particularly those who play in the street. They don't have a barrier of a stage between them and a potential audience, hence they put themselves very much on the line. It takes great strength of character, I reckon! I also like it when musicians have a degree of aesthetic beauty, be they male or female, because I like to try to try to recreate the feel of old photographs taken in Paris or Rome in which beautiful people would be pictured in their environment in a rather 'romantic' way. I have no interest in taking fashion photographs of models, but I do enjoy photographing 'the beautiful people' in a naturalistic setting...

Naw, this one is amazing...it reminds me of the work of the greats from the earlier 20th century period - one of the classic shots from one of my dozens of photography books. The blurry man entering the shot makes it. I would maybe crop slightly on the left and top to make it even tighter but it really works well. Mark

Love this, you captured the moment. I think the "intruder" sets the contrast between the busy street environment and the introspective musician.

It's always interesting for me to read differing opinions about my photographs, but in this case Anna I have to agree with you. The moment I was responding to was this rather handsome chap playing great accordion music in the middle of a busy shopping street. He seemed to me to be 'out of time'... like he'd steppped off the set of an old movie. I wanted to convey this difference by including something of the bustle of the crowd around him, hence the importance of the blurred passer-by on the right of the image.

Potentially a great shot, but I wish the guy on the right wasn't intruding...
