This is so weird; that this wonderful piece of artwork was left behind by the builders. If they only know what they made; they could have them commissioned and hanging in some upscale art gallery somewhere. You have a great eye to see the beauty and structure in the trash.

~~GRIN~~ Michele... Try not to go too often... You know the old saying, *a watched pot never boils* LOL... That way when we do go over, the builders appear to have taken a giant leap forward... :)
As for the wool being pulled over my eyes ~~GRIN~~... Rarely happens, I'm pretty practical, easy going and adjustable... So long as I have the good & bad and can weigh up the situation, I'm fine... but, over the last couple of years, due to circumstances, have had to voice when necessary ~~GRIN~~...

LOL Liz... Don't know about the bargain hunting... but do like things that can be used for other than what they are intended... Because window dressing is also a love, using anything and everything to create a display is fun... So always on the look out...:)))

~~GRIN~~ Annemette... I love old signs, tins, kitchenware, books, furniture LOL... the list goes on and on... Have all sorts of family heirlooms (both of our families) that I love to use daily... :)

Haaaaa!!! These builders don't get away with a 'thing' !! I almost feel a little sorry for them ...lol !!
Great find and you are smart to keep your eyes open like you do ( duh)but I seriously doubt there are few that could pull the wool over Your Eagle Eyes ..ha!!!

anyway, back to the brilliant find!! Great colour and perspective...makes a most interesting abstract presented like this, with the words upside down..love the texture too :)

Boy, the colours and pattern in this image are fantastic...the blue really leaps out, I love where you see the images...I must walk around looking up and out and miss all the beautiful things that we are lucky enough to see through your eyes.

What does it say?? I love old signs. Maybe you can hang it in your new home? Nice crop and colours.
