Very nice girl, just a bit light photo without much contrast. It might work better black and white? A pity you cropped the hands, but besides that it a very nice composition.

Bob,
I agree with the comment by Subha to a point. The light is so harsh on her front it seems to wash out the texture of her sweater and her face appears pasty. On the positive side...she is a very nice looking model and I like the composition of the photo. I would also suggest a tighter shot and a wider shot of the same photo. You did well on the composition.

you got a nice model who is willing to work with you. That is a plus. However you must get your act together right. Now you are using natural light here, and the light is balanced. It looks to me she is squinting. Maybe the light on her face is too harsh. As a result of her squinting her eyes are almost invisible. you got a good start, her clothes works here, nice contrast, but you have to do something about her eyes..
