This is an interesting image from you. So very different. I like it but have a number of questions. I do not mind the mono background. I think it adds a really interesting effect that looks good. But what is the paler structure to the right of the background? And the spot just to the left of the paler object? But, I do like this piece JD. The soft focus throughout gives a dreamy atmosphere and the choice of crop adds to the image. Nice one JD.
