Thanks for the comments Cathy. To increase the dof I used a program called CombineZ5.3 by Alan Hadley, www.hadleyweb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk. To use the program, you take a series of images with different parts of the subject in focus. The program extracts the in-focus portions of each shot and combines them in one sharp image. I think this image is a compilation of 5 images.

Thanks Cleveland for the comments and feedback. Since I feel size and detail has a great deal to do with the appreciation of an image, I hesitate to reduce the size of images too much. With the increasing popularity of high def. LCD monitors running at 1280X1024 or higher, may people can view an 850 pixel high image with very little scrolling. Maybe reducing the size to 750 would be a good compromise.

Joe, IMHO this is the best of the Amaryliss images that you have posted. Tim was right about the crop, I will agree with him. I would like to see the image posted somewhat smaller so that I do not have to scroll to see all of the image. I usually post my images 600 on the longest side. Just my ideas and opinions.
