Now, here's a picture I LOVE.... and so wish to see in real life.
Those layers of mountains and the shades of blue you managed to capture on film.
To have included the people in the shot has made all the difference too.

This is a lovely image! It has so many elements that made up an excellent image:
1 - The seem boundless layers!
2 - The darker areas at the bottom of the image has added stability to the shot. And yes just the right propotion. Good job on the composition.!
3 - The tones are great! Cold yet appealing.
4 - The most important factor, imho, is the scale. The inclusion of the two human subjects in the shot has manifested the scale so well. Without them, the viewers simply can't get the feel of how large and open the space is.
5 - Compositing them on the lower left corner has created the dynamics needed otherwise the shot will appear to be static.
