Yes, indeed I did use a tripod. But the shutterspeed was 1/8 so indeed not so long. I did photoshop some lanterns out of the background. So that makes it a lot more black.

indeed the tall crop is better then the horizontal one. Nice sharpness and good contrast between the black and green, good combination of colors. Did you use the tripod to take it? i can't imagine the shutter time being that long though because the background is so dark.

Thank you Txules I did take one horizontaly as well. But I liked this crop because it has the same shape as the telephone boxes.

quiete interesting martjin, love the green glow against a pure black bkg, given some kind of desolation here, at least I fell that; not sure about cropping may be a square format might be nice too, but anyway a fine piece...txules
