Very unusual flower and a well thought out composition. I can only imagine the dramatic impact of the tiny hairs on a darker background. I would lose the fancy border. Flowers are so beautiful that they only need a simple border, or none at all. When you see those really great photos in a gallery, they are matted simply, usually in white and most often are presented in a very simple black frame to place the emphasis on the photo itself. This really is a unique variety, do they come in any other colors, like bright red? Nice job.

So beautiful and so perfect! This is an excellent flower photo! Personally I would make it just a little bit darker and add some more contrast to make it look really deep. But even like this I think it's excellent!
