Day 7: Sun 16th Sept: Ljubljana
Your morning walking tour will show you around Ljubljana’s city centre – the
open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s
Fountain. Afternoon free to explore the city or take an optional tour to Lake Bled.

Day 8: Mon17th Sept : Ljubljana to Venice
Drive to Venice visiting one of the largest caves in Europe, Postojna, en route.

Day 9: Tue 28th Sept : Venice
Today, you visit St Mark’s Square with St Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace, then
The Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. Observe traditional Venetian glass blowing
at one of glass blowing factories. Afternoon free. Overnight Venice. B
Day 10: Wed 29th Sept: Venice to Ferrara, Pisa & Florence
Today set off for the Renaissance city of Ferrarra for an orientation tour. Continue to
Pisa to view the famous Piazza del Miracolli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery
And Duomo. Then on to Florence. Overnight Florence. BD
Day 11: Thu 30th Sept: Florence
Today’s sightseeing begins at Piazza del Doumo with its Cathedral, Bell Tower and the Baptistery. Then see Michelangelo’s David at the Academy of Fine Arts before
admiring the view over Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo. Overnight Florence. B
Day 12: Fri 1st Oct: Florence to Sienna, Assisi & Rome
Drive through picturesque Tuscan countryside to Sienna. Stroll to the Piazza del
Campo and St Dominic church. Continue through Umbria to Assisi to visit the famous
St Francis Basilica before finishing your day in Rome. Overnight Rome. BD
Day 13: Sat 2nd Oct: Rome
Today’s highlights include the Vatican Museum with Michelangelo's magnificent
Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. Then on to the Colosseum, ancient Palatine
Hill, the Imperial Palace and the Roman Forum. Finish your day with a walk to the
Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps. Overnight Rome. BL
Day 14: Sun 3rd Oct: Rome
Day free to explore the wonderful sights of ancient Rome, do some shopping or
relax in a sidewalk cafe and enjoy people watching. An optional excursion to Pompei
is also available. Tonight’s farewell dinner in a local restaurant with wine and music,
is a perfect way to finish your tour. Overnight Rome. BD
Day 15 4th Oct: Mon: Rome
Tour services end after breakfast with your departure transfer to the airport.
