The Sigma lens was borrowed from a friend and, unfortunately, I have to return it. It is a nice lens though. That is strange about the Canon lenses. I guess when you're number 1 you can charge for everything.
I'm still hoping we can get together for some bird photography. I have been a little quiet in this cold weather.
Nice action shot Todd. I hope you are liking your Sigma Macro (sure has nice build quality). I used to own one and sold it, sorry I did. It was one of my sharpest lenses when stopped down a bit, I found it heavy and hard to use handheld but am now thinking about getting another one although I am also thinking about using extension tubes with the 300F4, I sort of like the longer working distance with the F4 although I may not be able to get to 1:1, I should be able to get close. Still not sure though. I had the Canon 100 2.8 and liked it a lot, found it sharp right from 2.8 and focused very quickly for a macro, but returned it because for the price they should include a hood and tripod collar. Nice to see your macros.
