Thanks Onie for the all your comments. Bull frogs are not as common here as they used to be either. It is a concern, not a good sign.

I haven't seen a bullfrog for years Joe... :) Love them... We had them under our back step when kids... My father introduced us , be we male or female, to all things that hop, jump, wriggle, swim, fly and run... ~~GRIN~~ Mum wasn't keen on any of them LOL...
Thankfully people are more aware now to loss of habitat issues... We have lost way too many species...:)
This guy/gal is a real cutie and just love that big mouth and those *I see all* eyes...
Agree on the DoF but a mighty fine shot anyway Sir...:)

Thanks for all the nice comments Ina.
When I look at it now I just wish I had been able to get the tip of his nose in focus. With that lens I guess I was running out of light for a handheld shot and had to open the aperture to get a reasonable shutter speed.
