AJ - how astute of you! This is the coast slightly north of Dakhla, so not in the lagoon but actually in the Atlantic. I went to Timbuktu on my motorbike last month and took this on the way back. We stayed in Dakhla and took this the next day.

A beautiful scene from this wonderful location.

Somehow it doesn't look like the Atlantic - is this one of the semi-sheltered lagoons that occur along this coastline? (I'm thinking of Ad Dakhla, for example...)

Very beautiful.. I love the vast dof.. and the shadows on the water really add to that. Just really serene and pretty!
