This is actually an older shot of mine that I recently scanned. The horizon needed leveling, and, exept for the sky, it was way to dark. There used to be nothing I could do about that, but now "We have the technology."
Any and all comments, critiques and suggestions are, of course, more than welcome.
Thanks for the critique, Michele. I agree regarding the foreground, I would have liked it to be more visible as well. I did lighten it a bit from the original, but too much more and noise would have been a problem, ruining the softness of the image. It is a country lane, or a driveway, more precisely.
A beautiful sky here Jason... the soft colors are very nice. I wish the fore-ground was a bit lighter so I could really see what's there. I think it is a country road (?) but I'd never bet on it. Other-wisw this is a very nice composition. It's still a good composition the way that it is as it leaves you guessing a bit about what is in the dark . I am assuming this is the way you wanted it .... Good job Jason !
