I know what you mean about freezing. Now that we have some snow and the lake has frozen over, I been doing a series on ice and snow around my home. Yesterday, I stood on the lake for far too long waiting for the sunset which never really developed. It was like -18 deg C. and when I decided to come in I was a little worried I might not make it. The risks and sacrifices we make for photography. :) :) I noticed the cables etc. in your image and it didn't bother me. They are just part of the cityscape. Might look strange without them. All the best.

Thanks Joe, I spent a whole freezing morning on College Street :) I'm glad you like the other one's composition, because I was wondering about the cables, but I decided to let them be, they're everywhere & so is signage, and lamp posts. I'll just include them wherever they are :) Great observation, Ina

This one looks cold too with it's icicles and snow. Interesting contrast between architectural styles. Cold morning 1 is more effective with it's icy colours, vapour pouring off the buildings and more appealing composition. All the best.
