It's funny you say that about their feet...I thought I would be the only one to notice that. Just one of the freak accidents. The one thing I wish I could change is the fact that the tree converges with the mother's head. Oh well, you take what you can get :)

I love the lighting, tones, textures, mood, and the shallow DOF takes the cake my friend... It converts a landscape into a portrait...

Those colours... this is so beautiful. It really reminds me of a series of photographs taken of the Amish people by William Allard in the 1960s.
