Yes, joy! The joy to see a person flying over the waves in the most joyful way. Convey life and appetite for life to the endth degree. And there is no othe reason for that appetite for life on this one than... life itself! With all its ups and downs!
Perhaos a bit more contrast, especially from your main actor to the background, would have helped to make this even stronger!

Thanks Jeff for the comment :) It was fun times on the beach, despite being December... I wish I could say I captured this on the first try... haha. I really enjoy this photo because she is like this all the time, full of life.

I agree with Jan, I usually get bugged by off-level sea horizons but here it adds to the kinetic element of the image. For that reason I'd be inclined to tilt it even more. Her pose is fabulous and placing her in the centre of the frame has worked well.

Amusing and packed with the feel of the title (Joy) as well as lots of movement/action. Well done. Someone may suggest you tilt the horizon slightly to make it even on the horizontal axis but I like it just the way it is; it accentuates the action of the photo.
