You're welcome, Edward!:) I meant that in people it is red-eye, while in some animals it is green or blue-eye.

Thank you for your comment Shirley.
What did you mean by the "red/blue eye" comment?

Thank you for your comment Saintz.
It really wasn’t an idea to be realized, it was much more an interesting accidental result. This picture was merely the result of me playing with my newly purchased Sigma APO 170-500mm F5-6.3 DG. Had just placed it on the camera for the first time and was scanning the room, the cat was sitting on the desk and looked over at me, so I snapped a picture while zoomed out to 500mm, this was the result.
Was out with the new lens this weekend and wasn’t exactly blown away by the results, thinking I might take it back and just upgrade to the Sigma APO 50-500mm F4-6.3 EX DG HSM. Any advice, comments or warnings regarding the two lenses is certainly welcome.
All the best, Ed

Thank you for your comment Yehia.
I contemplated sharpening the image more (and normally I probably would have), but in this case I didn't want people to doubt that this was essentially the original image as is and decided to leave it pretty much as is.
All the best, Ed
