yea, very funny, looks like trying to cover itself from your camera, like singers trying to be out of Paparatsi range...having also some bad words hahahahaha....really funny result!!! And difficult photo too...to focus on a so small bug into a flower with so many bigger objects roundly of it...

sylvia, when taking shots of flowers, bring a smaqll spray bottle of water with you. spray the flower lightly before taking the photo, and get some nice droplets on the flower, makes a nicer photo.

Thank you very much for your comments they are duly noted:-) As to the insect, he was a bonus I was actually taking a photo of the dew drop on the flower, in the next photo he has gone behind a petal and all you can see is a skinny black leg:-) I would have preferred his head to his bum so that is the reason I chose the photos title "I vant to be alone" because that what he looked like he was trying to convey to me:-)

hi sylvia. since this is your first photo (digitally) i'll give you my thoughts.
first i try to find flowers that dont have any obvious imperfections in them, or else try to clone out the little spots that are distractions. some people just prefer to leave things as they are however which is also fine.
try to find flowers like a lily or lotus that have interesting parts inside that you can focus on with the macro function on your camera.
finally, with the insect, i think its always nicer to get the head of an insect instead of their behind.
some of your photos are looking good. with more trial and error you'll become much better.
