About	this time of year calves are branded, some weaned.....bellowing mum's distressed calls carry across the flat from the yards, all night, wet rails, broken ear tag lies in the dirt, billy's cold, fire is out.....noise, blood, hot brands and smoko around ten await us......the dawn of another day when flies and drought don't get us then the demons will!

hi John, yeah, it's a bit on the dark side, I know the place of course and can feel it's atmosphere, which makes a difference I think......sometimes hard to transfer that feeling through the picture? many thanks for a useful and positive critique. cheers, david.
