Jake-

You got close! This is a touching moment, one that's great to keep ahold of. I may have looked at this from another angle. You have wonderfull window light comming in the room, take advantage of it :) This may have had a completely different feel if you stood in front of your brother an grandfather, or at an angle where you could take use of the light instead of having it distract. The first thing that I look at here is the window in fact.
