Great shot and reflection here, Yamil! It's great the way you can take advantage of all the natural resources you have there, and thanks for bringing them to the rest of us!
Dave.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your comment.
I am planning to go back to Radio Rd tomorrow morning around 7:30 AM and then head down to Shoreline Park by 10:00 AM. That's when they open the kayak rental. I want to get more shots of these beautiful birds and I want to test the Canvasback and see how they behave with me kayaking...
In regards the Scoters, I guarantee you the kayak is the best option. They let you get very close and when they take off, they land only 30 to 50 yards from you. Besides there are more Scoters now than 1 week ago.
Also I wanted to let you that on the 16th of December I am planning to go to Fitzgerald Marine Preserve and take some shots of the mud invertebrates.
Although the little voices in my head keep telling me to go bird watching, I want to explore other branches of nature photography. I will invite Marcus and Jinggoy too and I hope you can make it.
Ok buddy, hope to see you soon.
Yamil

Great shot, Yamil. I dumped mine from earlier today because I couldn't get the exposure correct. You did a great job with it here. I didn't get any scoter pics like I would have liked, but found two GBH by the golf course (creek between the Club House and practice range) who wouldn't budge an inch even though I was almost in their faces. Oh well, that will probably be the end of my excursions to that area until after the holidays, all of my weekends are booked with adoptions and classes, so I'll have to stay around this side of the Bay for a while. I'll live vicariously through all of your shots--

Take care!

chris
