Awesome shot of this Great Dane:-) It must be a friend behind it with the extra legs?? Incredible how well you took this making it look like an 8-legged dog! In general a good angle for a dogphoto.

Hi Joanna! Yes, definitely a dog (although the other shot I uploaded in response to Doyle's comment does make him look like a kangaroo!) He spotted me on the beach and came racing towards me with his friend. I was trying out a new lens and had very little time - he was going fast! So, the image could perhaps be a little sharper, but I was quite pleased and surprised what I could do with 300mm...

Actually Doyle, I think it's a kangaroo! Here's another shot of him and his friend. Shame they're not sharper, but this was the first day down on the beach with the new lens - and needless to say, this was not the intended subject!
