About A mask I keep hanging over one of my wall lampshades at the top of my stairwell. I had to shoot up for this one as the lampshade is quite high.
I chose the POF as the "eye" which is in fact a shadow. The eye hole of the mask is just that... a hole... The shadow suggests there is a slit of a sleeping eye in it.
Some PS work and also I wanted a vertical panorama on this. Just for the sake of something "different"...
No, it will not be to the taste of many people I am sure... But it entertains me! :)

Thank you so much Dear Shirley!

Still salvaging from that roll of film my camera didn't want to shoot, and after it had (sort of made a lame attempt to... lol...), it didn't want to spit out! Hehehe...

By the way, the mask isn't really scary at in "life"... I love the way the camera "lies" if you tell it to! :)So much for the old saying that the camera never lies... :)

Hugs~
Aniko :)

Very nice Aniko ... thanks for telling all about it too. I love the vertical pan on this . It really works & I like the sake of being different also ...

Best Wishes,
Michele~

Thank you Colin.

I was just funnin' in a slightly macabre way. I think masks are a bit spooky and often macbre... Had the shadow not been in this image, it would not be so "spooky". To me, this mask seems to be alive and I am waiting for it to open its eye... LOL! Then I'd go duck under the bed!:)

Big Hugs~
Ani :)
