This is nice, the only time I saw this out of the water was when it was on it's log, and then I scared it off when Yamil was takeing photos of it! I like that you got him in mid-stride and that there is a bit of a reflection of his leg in the water puddle in front of him. Technically great, as always....
Wonderful to meet you guys...hopefully, I'll see you around again one of these days!

You know bill that is not as crazy as it seems, as long as i have been shooting birds this WD and the redtail that hangs around the same area are almost tame, I have never seen anything like it, the redtail let us get within 5 feet, the wood duck just roams around this little pond and is not distracted by what now is many photographers everyday, I am thinking they may be released pets or something of that nature, but Im not complaining :)

HI G, glad you had a nice TG, a nice quite holiday would have been nice, But as usual 30 family members 4 turkeys, drunk family wondering out at 2am LOL, The thing i like the most about holidays isssss when there OVER ! I havent heard much from you besides the here and there bulk email. I hope your enjoying the new place!
