About A large, 15 -inch fishing float with a net 'ALL THE way from JAPAN '.... I think....
It was found here on the beach and not made here... Japan is the closest place that makes these and uses them for fishing as far as I know . Please correct me if I am wrong ...
I hope I didn't make it too abstract for viewing ... let me know how You feel and I would like to change it if possible .
Thank You

Hi Annemette,

Fun to see new things huh? I'll never forget seeing a photo of the tree with the pacifiers all over it for kids giving up their pacifers ! Being on the west coast most of my life I'v always seen these floats . James Cook was telling me that plastic is now used instead of glass in the fishing nets but the ones I have are glass..... they still show up now and then all the way from Japan.
Thank you for your interest and comment.
Best wishes,
Michele~

Dear MIchele
This is something new to me although living in a small nation surrounded by the sea! It might as well be an object from far out in the universe looking so special:-)
Take care,
Annemette

I don't know when the moved from glass to plastic. I was told this by someone who lives out on the Washington coast. I assumed they gauged this by the shift in beach degris over some long time period. That could be an accurate guess, though.

Yeah, from Japan is the story I hear too. These are older though. Now no one uses glass. So it travelled distance and time to find your camera. Here is a shot I did using a float:
