I agree with the crop that Gary Dyck did. There´s nothing else that you should do to the image. Its a great work! Best wishes Ruben

I agree with the crop above but other than that, I dont see how a firey sky contrasted to a snow capped mountain could look any better. -great eye ryan

Thank you, Duncan.
After reviewing your portfolio, I particularly appreciate the comment about "staging".
I think your shots display a keen understanding of photographic "drama," and especially how to effectively emphasize shadow in compositions.
I very much like your southwest shots, "the condos," the conical stone dwellings south of the boarder, etc. Also many wonderful images of the Grand Canyon, which is where landscape lovers go to die.
Mt. Sopris is an amazing mountain; it's only 13,000' tall (not particularly impressive by Colorado standards), but it arises out of a flat plateau near the town of Carbondale, and has a sheer vertical ascent of over a mile—one of the longest/largest exposures of rock mountain-face in the world.
Our home overlooks the Roaring Fork Valley, and we awaken to Sopris each morning, and sleep under the same blanket of stars.
I've taken tens of thousands of shots from the rear of our property. Sooner or later, I had to catch her looking like this.

Addison
One of the best landscape shots I have seen here yet since I joined UF.
An image that appears as much as a piece of Art, like a fine painting, stands out immediately, and in this particular case, you have done just that Addison.
All technical aspects are just wonderful, and you couldn't have staged a better composition if you had painted this image yourself.
A 7+, and very well done.

I like your crop. The narrow band of horizontal black hills in the foreground has a more effective graphic quality and makes a better stage for Sopris and her mantel of fiery clouds.
Good catch, Gary.

Hi Addison... Great shot here. I just wonder if it wouldn't be a little more dramatic with a slightly tighter crop? Hope you don't mind, but I did a little crop on your picture. I think it brings the focus more onto the colours and the mtns. I guess it's all really a matter of personal taste. Either way, it must have been an awesome sight to see! Cheers, Gary

That is stunning! The contrast between the mountains and the sky, the reflection, all well captured. Envious someone actually saw that!! Great work...
