Yes, I know this pain with some limitations about the camera, because I had a Canon G2 and I didn't have there as long as I wanted exposure time, so I had to buy new camera .. new better :) Now my exposure possibilities are so wide that I can create what I dream about :)

Ah, I see. Yes, you waved a flashlight over your subject. Now I recognize the technique. I do a lot of work with long exposure involving camera motion or camera and subject motion. Here is a recent example involving a person:

My camera won't do very long exposures (I think 1s is its maximum) and so I have not yet tried out techniques like you employed on this photograph. Soon.
