Thank you for your very detailed response. I understand about the color--mostly real. I also now understand your interpretation of echoes.

(I think when you say Lyric you mean to say Song. Lyrics are the words of songs. Not all songs have words.)

James, thanks for your comment.
Now I try to answer to your questions.

-------------------
"How does this unusual image get us to Echoes?"

The lyric is about 23 mins and its moods vary within a wide range. There ares equences recalling quiet landscapes, others very close to soft and dreamy images, but there are also strong passages, very dark and full of hallucinatios.
My project aims at giving a complete representation of the lyric, thus the mood in different images have different moods and atmospheres, in compliance with the music.
This very one you can see here related to a "dark" and hallucinatory sequence.

Are these colors real ?

It depends on what you mean for "real".
In daylight the wall was nearly white, but the image was taken during the night with fluorescence light, which gives a srong green dominant when employed with a invertible daylight film for colour slides.
So ... the colours are not "real" for the human eye, but are "real" for a daylight invertible film.

Marco !!

ps: ti ho scritto mail qualche gg fa, ti è giunta ?

An interesting project. How does this unusual image get us to Echoes? Are these colors real? What an odd place.
