Hi Nick, Yeah, maybe "special effects" are not really the words to use. More like "technique" I have also done many experiments with multiple exposures over the years. Negative sandwiches in the darkroom were always interesting. Or multiple exposures on the paper from different negatives separately. More recently I've done some experimenting with Photoshop multiple images. Andre

Thank you very much for the lovely comment, Andre!
The only "special effect" is that it is a triple exposure. Multiple exposures are somewhere on the border of "normal" photography and special effects. I consider them to be more "normal" since they are simply many shots that are superimposed, but many photographers consider them "slightly" over the border of "normal" photography.
Interesting though, how we can produce elements of fantasy by using the real existing things.
Many thanks and cheers,
Nick

It seems you have a well deserved hit with this one Nick! The composition and the special effects work very well without being overbearing. It is a very easy image on the eyes and has a bit of a fantasy feel to it.
Great job on this one!

Thanks a lot for the lovely comment, Annemette!
So it seems I could be in the right direction for painting with camera and lens only. I am glad for that.
Thanks again and best wishes,
Nick

Thank you very much, Fabrice!
Indeed, my big wish is to be able to paint with the camear and the lens alone. I am glad that it starts working.
Best wishes,
Nick

Yes, the turbulence somehow seems to put the whole in a kind of motion.
