Dear Jorge!
Thank you for your kind words. They mean much to me :) The lighting is MIXED... not all artifical. There was some natural light coming in through the window as well as tungsten lamp in this lady's home.
Forgive my late reply, as will be my other replies to you, but I am still not feeling exactly on top of the world with my health.
Fond Wishes, Aniko :)

I am not much good whit words, specially about me ( or my photos ), but i like to read this stories around one photo. They give us an approach to the image. This image is very good. This light is spetacular, it doesnt look like artificial light. Regards :) Jorge

You say that sometimes your style has been referred to as a 'Confrontation'. I can see why.
To me, this is one of the TOUGHEST projects in UF, and you have a BIP here !!!!
What more do I need to be convinced ??
Let's be friends !!!
Thanxx and Cheerz !!! Avi

You are so right, it is an excellent title. You can almost feel the tension your model is portraying. Another great set up from the master. Congratulations on the Best In Project award, my dear!

You have said nothing wrong at all to me Dear Michele!
You are an extremely intuitive person, it seems! And I believe there is more purpose to your life than only seeing what others aren't able to as fast... (in relation to when you comment on other people's work...) You are an artist in your own right and I admire you.
I have added you rather than to my associates list, to my friends list. I hope you don't mind, since you feel rather more like a friend than an associate to me :)
Warmest Wishes to you as always, and many thanks! Aniko :)

Dear Aniko,
I was wrong to say More attention than a person deserves.... I just meant 'more notice is taken' .... Thank you for your time. michele~

Thank You Aniko....
YOU ARE VERY GOOD ...
I don't know a lot but every single time I compliment or encourage one they do seem to get more attention they Do deserve... So I do follow my feelings .
Maybe my purpose is just to SEE what others aren't able to as fast ...
I do sound boustful but I don't mean too... I just know talent when I see it...
You have MUCH ...and a lot of it is because you are not jealous or wierd about the images you take. I admire that and no need to respond.
I have added you to my associate list to keep track of your work if you don't mind. If so ... Just let me know !
Best Wsihes. Michele~

Dear Michele!
Thank yo so much for such a long and beautifully worded "comment".
I do not see you as being "rude" to me any way! :)
I am a little overwhelmed with your praise and humbled by it. I am certainly not the greatest photographic artist, but I have a driving creativity within, no matter what the subject... and especially when on commissioned work, which is usually a real challenge, I "block" everything else out of my heart, soul and mind and work through "feel"... the camera and other equipment needed to make an image are just devices. I believe this is what you feel about the way I approach my "work"...
And I realy appreciate your warm compliments, though I believe you really do praise me too highly..
Warmest Wishes to you Dear Michele... thank you... Aniko :)

Hi Aniko , I've admired your work since you first came here , or soon after.... You are very professional and very good at what you do.
I like the fact that you are non-bias to men or women or dogs, or 'whatever' ... this is most impressive to me.
The rose aimlessly held, the not quite smile ... is also partially elegance to me...
Regardless I do agree with You being able to sence the 'Anxiety' factor maybe more so than it actually shows.
I find this lady very elegant ... and definitely pre-occupied with 'other thoughts' Bigger and More important than this photo shoot...which is actually very 'rude' to You ....
I do think it is an excellent shot , for what you apparently had to deal with and your mission of elegance came out very well !
I meant this as a compliment so I hope that after all the bla, bla ... You can can understand this !
Best Wishes, Michele~

A very differnt approach Aniko but very effective. The sue of stark sidelight against the warm creamy glow creates tension and enhances the mood of anxiety. Great image! Joggie

very nice composition and colors. I like the way the window "constrain" the subject in the lower right corner, as if it would enhance the anxiety of the subject. I agree with you about the title. Davide.
