My fav too Dave, thanks for taken the time to comment! Settings as follows:- shutter open (bulb) with lens cap on f32 28-70mm and 17-35mm lenses then as firework goes airbourne, take off the lens cap for anywhere between 1/2 to 3 seconds. Guessing where it is going to pop in the sky is the problem? ha ha. wide angle helps.
