Nice image Tim !! I used to live in Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, and Lake Tahoe !!! so I know where you are and I do miss it a lot !
You've got nothing but great work going on here in your portfolio ! I saw the title of this and choose it to comment on first .

This is a very interesting looking thru the window it appears ... nice angle and way to lure me on to the lower part of such a calm still reflection on the water ... and then to the sand , then very good DOF to the entire view.... or I could also see it as snow but then I couldn't explain no snow on the sand... plus I don't think there is much snow there now... I like the choice of not knowing for sure and just gazzing into the image is satifying and peaceful . The soft expossure also works well for either morning or night ... so lots to play with in my mind !

This does a great job of playing with the mind. It reminds me of those geometric impossibility objects (line drawings that play with positive and negative shapes that send your head spinning trying to comprehend). I think you know what I'm referring to. I think I studied them in science or math class in junior high.
