About This summer I tried to shoot bumblebees on flowers. I must say that cost a lot of sweat because they are so fast changing position every time. I shall do a lot of exercise on this theme and try it also from bigger distance. This one was shot from some 10 cm or so.

Thank you for sharing this pic, Albert. Yes, photography has helped many troubled youth to find purpose. As for Jo, it is wonderful to be able to share the same interests...makes it easier for both of you.:)

Hi Shirley,

I am glad she likes photography now in the way of being an active participant in doing.
During my life I always encouraged people to get into this wonderful world of light and seeing.

In the past I was doing volunteer work with youngsters with the sticker "difficult" youth. We gave them camera's and a mission to shoot pictures and develop them in the doka by themselves (all B&W).
They got so enthousiast, a pleasure to share.
This is one of the pics from that project. Faces reflected in muddy water. I keep these good memories for ever.

Greetz and I wish you and yours all the best my dear friend,
Albert

Hi Darryl,

Thanks for you comment. From nature I am not such a patience guy, on the contrairy (I got it from my dad). But photography amongst other activities, thought me that learning this leads to better results, expands your possibilities.
Must say, there are still events in life that I easy and quick lose my patience. After that I most of the time regret it.

Greetz and wish you all the best,
Albert

Had to make this smaller to fit it on my screen!

A very nice macro, but I think it is that pink and white blast that really sets this apart.

Albert,
You must have great patience in setting up a photo like this. To get the lighting and focus set is a challenge in itself. To catch the bee in his work is wonderful.
Thank you, Darryl
