About	I thought that this subject required the B&W conversion as the lines and geometrical shapes might have a greater impact on the viewer. I wonder if I was wrong?

Very good composition of this cityscape, Yoshiyuki! I like the way the bridge sweeps across the image in several layers, balanced by the smokestacks on the right hand side. Your b/w tones are very good, as well.

I think this shot looks great it B&W.
The only way a comparison can be made is if you attach the color image though!

I like the contrasts and the DOF.
